Pittsburgh Studio Maternity Photos

Nicole and Tom were one of the first weddings I photographed when I was just getting my business off the ground and running, and it seems like a sweet little slice or serendipity to be able to capture their maternity photos.

When I originally talked to Nicole about her vision, she was a little concerned because the ideal time for her maternity photos was in March - and we all know what March can be like in Pittsburgh. When I suggested studio photos, it was like a lightbulb - of course! Maternity photos can be done in the studio too - especially if you're going for a relaxed, casual vibe like these two were.

Their session was sweet, laid back, and cozy. It was so apparent throughout the entire time together just how excited these two were for their little one to come so soon, and I'm pretty sure the three of us just beamed through the entire session together! Nicole had also been documenting in a little notebook how she felt each week and what new things were occurring during the pregnancy. She brought this notebook with her and it made for such a sweet and sentimental element to our photos. Once again, I am honored to have been a part of documenting the creation of this little family.
